Chapter 8

Nathan

I wake up and reach over for Levidia, but I find her spot empty and cold. I shoot out of bed knowing there is no way in hell I dreamed her up. Everything was too real and she was even more breathtaking then I could have ever wished for. I jump out of bed put on a pair of briefs and make my way down the hall. When I reach the top of the stairs the scent of bacon and maple hits my nose.

My stomach growls at the smell. I take the stairs two at a time and make my way into the kitchen. I stop in my tracks when I see that my woman is standing at the stove in nothing but my shirt, making breakfast. Jesus, she looks so right in my kitchen all I can think about is her standing there with her belly round with my child. When I walk up behind her and wrap my arms around her waist she leans against me and sighs.

“Good morning, babydoll. Why are you up so early?”

She turns around in my arms and looks up at me with a serious face. “You snore.” Of all the things I thought she would say, that was not it.

“I do not,” I say in mock outrage.

She giggles and shakes her head. “Yes. Yes. You do like a bear.” She scrunches up her face and makes a snoring sound. Holy hell, she is adorable. I chuckle and pull her close, kissing her soundly.

She moans, but when the spatula drops to the floor she pulls back. “Fuck, look what your hotness made me do. I almost burnt the bacon,” she says running her small hand down my abs my cock hardens and I groan.

“Baby, if you keep doing that we are definitely going to burn the bacon.”

“Food first, then hanky panky,” she says laughing.

I growl and slap her ass. “Deal. What can I help you with?” I ask, kissing her shoulder.

She reaches for another spatula and flips the food. “Can you get the table ready? Oh, and our coffee. I love hot chocolate in mine but if you don't have any, can you put lots of creamer.”

I scrunch up my face, glad that she can’t see my reaction. God. that is gross. “Sure baby, I can do that.” I look through my cupboards and find a package of hot chocolate. “It has marshmallows is that okay?”

She hums. “Yum, that is my favorite.”

I get her coffee ready and my plain black cup. By the time I have everything on the table she is putting a huge plate of food in front of me and an equally big plate in front of herself. My eyebrows shoot up and I look at her, then her plate. There is no way she is going to be able to eat all of that.

She laughs when she sees my expression and sits down. “I can eat you under the table, anytime big guy. I have a fast metabolism and I fucking love food.
